An Alcohol Free Retreat in Bali

This seven-night alcohol-free sober retreat for women in Ubud, Bali is designed to combine structure, steadiness, and exploration in a supportive environment for women who want to experience travel without alcohol.

Set at a peaceful retreat centre surrounded by lush greenery, the week follows a gentle rhythm that encourages rest, reflection, and meaningful connection with other women on a similar journey. Daily yoga, shared meals, and guided sharing circles create a steady foundation for the retreat, while still leaving plenty of space to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of Bali.

Throughout the week there will be optional opportunities to explore the culture and landscape of Ubud — from visits to temples and rice terraces to sound healing, cookery experiences, or simply relaxing by the pool and enjoying the calm surroundings of the retreat centre.

This retreat is intentionally alcohol-free. You won’t need to navigate drinking culture, explain your choices, or manage social pressure. The environment quietly supports sobriety, allowing you to experience travel with clarity, connection, and presence.

The rhythm of the retreat is structured but never rigid — full enough to feel enriching, yet spacious enough to allow genuine rest.

The Rhythm of the Week

Our week in Bali follows a gentle and steady rhythm, designed to support both connection and rest.

Most mornings begin with yoga, followed by breakfast and time to move slowly into the day. After breakfast we gather for a sharing circle — a space for conversation, reflection, and connection with other women travelling alcohol-free.

Afternoons are intentionally spacious, there are optional opportunities to explore the culture and beauty of Ubud, from visits to the Sacred Monkey Forest and local temples to Balinese cookery classes, sound healing, Reiki, or massage.
For those who prefer a slower pace, there is always the option to relax by the pool, read, journal, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the retreat centre.

Evenings bring us back together again. We share dinner at the retreat centre before spending relaxed time in conversation, connection, or quiet reflection.

The structure of the week provides gentle support without feeling rigid — offering a balance of movement, exploration, rest, and meaningful connection.
A Small Group Experience

We intentionally keep numbers small so the retreat feels personal, steady, and spacious rather than crowded or overwhelming.

You’ll be travelling alongside women at different stages of their relationship with alcohol — some sober curious, some newly alcohol-free, and others maintaining long-term sobriety. What connects everyone is a shared willingness to spend the week alcohol-free and to engage with the experience openly.

There is no pressure to share more than you want to. The sharing circles are invitational rather than compulsory, and there is always space to step back, rest, or simply enjoy the environment.

The intention is simple: to create a calm and supportive environment where connection happens naturally and the week unfolds at a steady pace.
