Retreat Terms and Conditions

Payment Schedule and Refund Policy

​

  1. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for the retreat.

  2. Second Payment: Due 6 months prior to the retreat start date.

  3. Final Payment: Due 4 months prior to the retreat start date.

    • Should you cancel:

      • Up to 2 months before the retreat start date, you will be eligible for a full refund minus the deposit.

      • Less than 2 months before the retreat start date, no refunds will be available, as payments to the resort and vendors are finalized at that time.

  4. Postponement Policy: In the event that travel restrictions or other circumstances outside of our control affect the retreat schedule, the retreat will be postponed. You may apply your deposits and payments to the new dates. If the retreat is postponed less than 2 months before the start date due to government-mandated travel restrictions, your payment will be credited to the rescheduled retreat.

  5. Trip Insurance Requirement: Participants are required to purchase Trip Insurance that covers any unforeseen circumstances, including “cancel for any reason” coverage, should you need to cancel after the full payment is due. Please provide a copy of your insurance with your final payment.

Retreat Etiquette and Participation Agreement

  1. Exclusive Vendor and Venue Use: Participants agree not to book separate retreats using Sobriety Sisterhood’s suppliers or venues. Furthermore, clients are not permitted to arrange independent retreats or utilize contacts and suppliers provided by Sobriety Sisterhood for personal purposes.

  2. Non Solicitation: Participants agree not to promote their own services, products, or business offerings to other retreat guests, ensuring that all attendees can fully engage in a supportive and distraction-free environment.

  3. Social Media and Promotional Restrictions: Participants are welcome to capture photos and videos for personal memories but agree not to use retreat-related media for promoting their own retreats or wellness services. Sharing media from the retreat on personal social media is permitted, provided it is not used for any marketing or commercial purposes.

  4. Alcohol-Free and Smoke-Free Environment: This retreat is both an alcohol-free and smoke-free experience designed for individuals who are already living alcohol-free.

    • No Alcohol: By joining, you acknowledge that:

      • You have sustained periods of sobriety prior to attending.

      • You agree not to consume alcohol at the retreat or engage in behaviors that could risk other participants’ sobriety.

      • This retreat is not a detox and does not have the medical facilities required for anyone with physical dependence on alcohol.

    • No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted at the retreat venue, indoors or outdoors. This ensures a clean, healthy, and supportive environment for all attendees.

  5. Responsibility for Additional Costs: Attendees are responsible for covering the costs associated with travel to and from the retreat location, as well as any meals, activities, or expenses outside the included retreat package

 

Release of Liability

  1. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that attending the retreat may involve certain risks, including but not limited to travel hazards, forces of nature, accidents, or illness. I am voluntarily participating in these activities with an understanding of the risks and hereby accept any potential hazards involved.

  2. Limitation of Liability: Sobriety Sisterhood will use its best efforts to ensure safety, however, we cannot assume liability for medical care adequacy, speed of emergency evacuation, or any care that may be provided. Sobriety Sisterhood is not liable for events arising from injury, loss, or damage to personal property resulting from participation in the retreat.

  3. Insurance Requirement: All participants are required to carry travel insurance, which covers unforeseen circumstances, including “cancel for any reason” coverage. Attendees must provide proof of insurance upon final payment.

  4. Waiver of Claims: As lawful consideration for the agreement with Sobriety Sisterhood to participate in this retreat, I agree that I will not make any claim against Sobriety Sisterhood or its representatives for bodily injury, death, or property damage arising from my participation. By signing the Retreat Contract, I acknowledge this waiver of claims and agree to these terms.

By signing the Retreat Contract, I confirm that I understand and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above. This contract serves as my Payment Schedule and outlines my commitment to participating responsibly in an alcohol-free, smoke-free, respectful, and supportive environment.
