Living Fully Present on Alcohol-Free Retreats
Sobriety Sisterhood Retreats did not begin as a business plan. It began as a quiet but decisive yes.
In 2020, when the world felt uncertain and contained, I boarded a plane alone. It was not a luxury escape or a curated wellness experience. It was something much more personal. I was 15 months alcohol free, and I wanted to discover who I was beyond the noise, beyond the expectations, beyond the habits that had quietly shaped my life for years.
That first journey changed something fundamental. Hiking mountains and jumping out of a plane, I realised sobriety had not made my world smaller — it had made it wider. Travel felt clearer, connection felt deeper, and joy felt steadier.
Without alcohol, I experienced everything more fully — the stillness of early mornings, the depth of conversation, the quiet confidence that comes from being entirely present and embracing adventure.
Somewhere in that space, a question began to take shape.
What if other women could experience this too — not alone, but together?
What if travel did not revolve around drinking?
What if adventure and sobriety could exist in the same breath?
What if connection did not need wine to begin?
That question became the first retreat.
In the years since, the retreats have evolved — from African coastlines and safari plains to desert light and Balinese mornings — each one shaped by the same foundation of clarity, connection, and presence.
These retreats are curated by women who live alcohol-free. Women who understand what it means to step outside familiar patterns, who know the courage it takes to travel without the social cushion of alcohol, and who also know the freedom that comes when you do.
At the centre of it all is sisterhood — not performance, not perfection, but honesty. Shared stories. Laughter that feels unfiltered. Support that feels steady rather than dramatic.
As the retreats have grown, so has the team. This year we welcomed Tanya as Retreat Director. We met on the first Sobriety Sisterhood retreat, and what connected us then continues to shape what we create now — a shared belief that alcohol-free travel can be expansive, strengthening, and deeply joyful.
Tanya brings lived experience, steadiness, and thoughtful leadership to every retreat we design. Together, we curate spaces that are adventurous yet grounded, structured yet spacious, and always rooted in meaningful connection.
Today, Sobriety Sisterhood Retreats bring together women who want to experience the world fully present and fully awake.
Sobriety Sisterhood Retreats stand as proof that sobriety isn’t a limitation — it’s an invitation.
Adventure. Well-being. Connection.

Adventure
Ocean swims at sunrise. Desert landscapes. Safari drives. Waterfall hikes.
Adventure isn’t adrenaline for the sake of it — it’s aliveness.
The kind that builds confidence quietly and bonds women quickly.
You return to your body. You remember what strength feels like.

Well-being
Our daily rhythm is intentionally designed to support sobriety in a holistic way.
Spacious mornings. Nourishing food. Time outdoors. Space to rest.
Practices that regulate the nervous system rather than overwhelm it.
There’s structure — but no pressure.

Connection
Women-only spaces where you don’t have to explain your sobriety.
No drinking culture to navigate. No awkward refusals.
Just conversation that deepens naturally — around long tables, under big skies, and in the quiet moments in between.
Connection without performance.
The Sobriety Sisterhood Experience
Each retreat is intentionally designed around the principles of Sobriety Sisterhood — clarity, compassion, nervous system awareness, and meaningful connection.
We curate our alcohol-free retreats to support sobriety in a holistic way, not just through conversation, but through rhythm, environment, movement, nourishment, shared experience and fun!
Our days are shaped with intention.
There is space for adventure and exploration — ocean swims, wide landscapes, new cultures
There is space for rest — unhurried mornings, nourishing meals, moments of stillness
There is space for reflection and conversation — not forced, but available
Alcohol isn’t removed and replaced with nothing.
Instead, we design experiences that feel full.
These retreats are alcohol-free by design, you don’t have to navigate drinking culture, explain your choices, or manage social pressure, the environment supports clarity and the pace supports steadiness.
We encourage rhythms that calm rather than overstimulate — time outdoors, shared meals, intentional conversation, gentle boundaries around distraction — allowing your nervous system to settle rather than spike
