Sobriety Sisterhood's Sober Sanctuary

Sustainable Sober Living Project

Find out more about how you can help me create a one of a kind, sober living facility in Rural France.  A safe, supportive alcohol-free facility for women to rest, restore and recover.

The Vision.....

Ever since I hosted my first Sober Retreat in Bali, I knew I wanted to create something more lasting—a space where women could take the time they truly need to reset and rebuild. That’s where the idea for a Sober Living Sanctuary in the heart of rural France was born. This facility will provide a safe, alcohol-free space where women can step away from everyday life, rest, heal, and gain the tools to build a sustainable, happy sober life.  The sanctuary will be designed for two groups:

✔ Women transitioning from detox or rehab who need more time before returning to daily life.
✔ Women who don’t feel rehab is the right fit but need more structured support than a retreat can offer.

The right property will allow us to create a peaceful, supportive environment, including:

✔ Six private en-suite rooms, with stays ranging from 3 nights to 4 weeks.
✔ Two self-catering tiny homes for longer-term, independent support.
✔ A welcoming communal area for cooking and eating together.
✔ An on-site yoga and fitness room for movement and well-being.

The entire ethos of the facility will be based on the six pillars of well-being—Sobriety, Rest & Recovery, Stress Resilience, Movement, Nutrition, and Connection—with a focus on daily routines that set the foundation for long-term sobriety.

Located in the Brenne National Park, this sanctuary will offer a slower, more mindful way of living, with structured days centered around nutritious food, breathwork, group workshops, creativity, and long walks in nature.

The Story....

Sobriety changed my life in ways I never expected. When I gave up alcohol in 2018, I thought I was just removing something that wasn’t serving me anymore—but what I didn’t realise was that I was stepping into an entirely new way of living. One that felt more peaceful, more aligned, and more whole than I had ever known.

But I also know how hard those early days can be. The quiet can feel overwhelming. The emotions can feel raw. And the world doesn’t slow down just because we’ve decided to change. That’s why so many women struggle—not because they don’t want sobriety, but because they don’t have the right space, support, or time to truly settle into it.

That’s exactly why I’m passionate about creating The Sobriety Sanctuary—It is an extension of who I am both personally and professionally and it is a place I wish had existed when I needed it.

As a trauma-informed sobriety coach, nutritionist, and stress resilience expert, I have spent years helping women navigate life without alcohol, but I’ve always felt there was something missing. A retreat can be inspiring, but it’s temporary. Rehab can be helpful, but it’s not always the right fit, or financially accessible.  What’s needed is a bridge—somewhere between early sobriety and long-term integration. A place where women can pause, breathe, and learn how to truly live in sobriety—not just survive it.

One of the things I’ve struggled with when looking at traditional recovery spaces is the feeling of separation—the idea of ‘us and them.’ In clinical rehab settings, there is often a divide between the professionals who provide the care and the people receiving it. There’s an underlying assumption that recovery is for ‘them’—the ones with the problem—while the professionals stand on the other side, unaffected.

But I don’t see it that way. I don’t just teach this—I live it. I believe that sobriety isn’t just for those who struggle with alcohol; it’s a path to well-being that benefits anyone. It’s a way of stepping out of the cycle of dysfunction, distress, and disease and into a life of clarity, presence, and true vitality. I don’t see sobriety as a sacrifice—I see it as a gift. And that’s why I live the life I promote.

That’s why this space will be different. I come to this work as both a professional and a peer. I have the training, experience, and expertise to guide women through this process, but I also know firsthand what it feels like to sit in the discomfort of early sobriety, to question everything, to wonder if life will ever feel normal again. I know the power of compassionate support, of non-judgmental spaces, of finding a place where you feel truly safe, because that is what I have created both online and with my retreats, but now I want to create something more sustainable and accessible.

For me, this is more than a project. It’s a deeply personal mission—to create a space where women can heal at their own pace, learn the tools they need for long-term well-being, and step into the fullest, most beautiful versions of themselves.

With your support, we can make this a reality. 💛

How You Can Help

Bringing this project to life is a community effort, and I would love for you to be part of it. This space will provide women in recovery with the time, support, and healing environment they need. With your support, we can create a first-of-its-kind sober living facility that offers a bridge between early sobriety and long-term well-being.

I am currently raising funds to secure and develop the property—and every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.
