Looking For Be Sober?
After years of running Be Sober, its founder, Simon Chapple, decided to bring the programme to a close.
Along the way, Be Sober helped thousands of people change their relationship with alcohol and discover how good life could feel like without it. If you were part of that community, you’ll know how much it meant to have somewhere to turn and people who understood what you were going through.
The good news? You can still get stuck into Simon’s fantastic resources. Access to his free YouTube videos and books are right here on this page, whether you’re coming back to a favourite or discovering his work for the first time.
And if you’d like some support along the way, Sobriety Sisterhood is here to help you pick up where you left off. Whether you’re thinking about taking a break from drinking or want some support to stay alcohol-free, you can explore what’s available below

Welcome to Sobriety Sisterhood
Practical support for finding freedom from alcohol.
I’m Ellen. I stopped drinking in 2018 after years of relying on alcohol to switch off at the end of the day. I knew it was taking more than it gave me, and I wanted to see what life could feel like without it. What made the difference was learning how to handle the parts of everyday life I’d been using alcohol to get through.
That experience, along with more than 20 years of working in health and wellbeing, shaped the way I coach today. Whether you’re considering your first break from drinking or you’ve been sober for a while and are finding it harder than you expected, there’s room to start wherever you are. We can look at what alcohol has been doing for you and find practical ways to meet those needs without it.
There are three ways to get support through Sobriety Sisterhood:

One-to-one coaching

Sobriety Sisterhood community
Women only. Ongoing support through group calls and a private WhatsApp group, where you can talk honestly with other women living alcohol-free.
Other places to find support
Sobriety coaching offers practical support with changing your relationship with alcohol.
It does not replace medical advice or treatment.
If you’re worried you might be physically dependent on alcohol or may experience withdrawal, please speak to your GP or a local alcohol service before cutting down or stopping. Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous without medical guidance.
If you’d like to talk with others who understand what you’re going through, SMART Recovery and Alcoholics Anonymous both offer free online peer support meetings. For help finding medical or local support in the UK, see NHS alcohol support.
