Sobriety is a journey, let me lead the way

Are you stuck in the cycle of using alcohol to fill the void, but not sure how to break the habit?

Do you feel like alcohol is stopping you from reaching your full potential in life?

Is it possible that alcohol is holding you back from being authentic you, from being the person you really want to be?

Do you question your relationship with alcohol?

Believe me, you are not on your own, our culture is one that promotes the use of alcohol to deal with our problems:  95% of adults in the western world drink alcohol, the majority would not identify as an alcoholic, yet if you asked them to give up for a length of time, most people would be horrified at the idea;  This is because one way or another most of us have a dependency to alcohol.

The big question is, how do you break this cycle?  The answer is actually very simple….

The key to sobriety isn't willpower, it is to create a life you don't want to escape from, to create a life you love; and together we will do that.

Alcohol and Health: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

"The Internet is full of mixed messages about alcohol.

On the one hand, moderate amounts have been linked to health benefits.

On the other, it is addictive and highly toxic — especially when you drink too much.

The truth is that the health effects of alcohol vary between individuals and depend on the amount and type of alcohol consumed."

This article discusses how alcohol affects your health. (healthline.com)

Testimonials

"I’ve struggled for years with an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. I never wanted to admit that it had a negative effect on my family and friends, my life. When I finally decided I needed help, I contacted sobriety sisterhood not knowing what to expect. Firstly I contacted Ellen woods (sobriety coach). I was not in a good place and Ellen completely made me feel at ease, everything she said made sense to me and I actually thought, I may be able to conquer my alcohol addiction. We met up and chatted about the good and potential bad days that one might experience whilst finding sobriety. I can’t recommend this group highly enough. Ellen is a fantastic support and due to Ellen and sobriety sisterhood, I am now sober."
